I've just joined the group and I was wondering if there was anybody who would be willing to help me grasp Dwarf Fortress properly? I've learnt some bits by myself but help is always welcome.

The story I have submitted was from my first fortress...oh god why ;-;
I just uploaded a 22 x 22 square map of the city of Dinnerwandered. 300-400 tiled images joined together in a humungous isometric map to my gallery - it's for a community game I'm in right now called "The Museum".
